Southend on Sea Rifle & Pistol Club - Shooting Club in Rayleigh

Southend on Sea Rifle & Pistol Club is a Home Office approved club that is affiliated with both the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the National Small-bore Rifle Association (NSRA), which provide the club with the necessary insurance.

The club holds a MOD Range Licence, allowing it to access specific military ranges in the Eastern Region.

Members meet every Thursday evening from 8 pm to 10 pm in a church hall located near the airport. The club adheres to strict regulations, with weapons limited to .177 caliber and a muzzle energy of 4 or 6 ft/lbs. Shooting activities take place at a range of 6 yards and 10 meters, and the club participates in postal competitions in Kent leagues.

Probationary members have the opportunity to receive coaching, and the club welcomes all levels of experience, from beginners to seasoned shooters.
