Hertford Rifle Club - Shooting Club in Hertford

Hertford Rifle Club, also known as WHRC, welcomes all interested individuals to experience the precision sport of .22 Target Rimfire rifle shooting from the prone position at their indoor range located at the rear of Saint Edmunds College. The club has a rich history of over 100 years, having recently merged with Ware Rifle Club.

Affiliated with the NSRA, all members are fully insured when shooting on the range. A full year’s membership costs £200, providing access to the club’s facilities and equipment. Prospective members are encouraged to join for a tryout, with no prior experience necessary.

The club values safety above all and adheres to strict safety protocols. WHRC takes pride in its friendly atmosphere, where members can enjoy the sport at their own pace and skill level.
