Swalecliffe & District Target Shooting Club - Shooting Club in Herne Bay

Swalecliffe & District Target Shooting Club is situated in Herne Bay, Kent, in close proximity to the railway station. The Club boasts an array of impressive facilities, including a club room, a gun room, an indoor 25-yard live fire range, two indoor 10-metre air rifle and air pistol ranges, and an outdoor 50-metre live fire range. The Club also caters to disabled shooters and runs a dedicated session for members of the Royal British Legion.

The indoor 25-yard range, which features four firing points, is ideal for prone, standing, kneeling, and bench rest shooting with 0.22 in. and 0.38 in. calibre rifles, as well as higher power air rifles. The two indoor 10-metre ranges each feature five firing points, and are exclusively designed for air rifles and air pistols, with a primary focus on standing position shooting, and also allow for bench rest shooting. One of the ranges has a target changing system that enables shooters to change or examine their targets at their leisure from the firing point.

The 50-metre outdoor range, featuring six under-cover firing points, is mainly used for all disciplines of 0.22 in. live fire, but higher powered air rifles can also be used.
