Ham & Petersham Rifle & Pistol Club - Shooting Club in Richmond
Ham & Petersham Rifle & Pistol Club is a thriving organization that provides excellent facilities for shooting enthusiasts. The Club boasts large shooting grounds comprising of six outdoor ranges ranging from 25 yards to 100 yards in length, which cater to a variety of firearms and disciplines including archery, air guns, .22, .38, .44 and .45 calibre rifles, and black powder pistols. Additionally, the Clubhouse features a 25-meter general-purpose range and a 10-meter air pistol and air rifle range, which is ideal for new and probationary members to try a range of firearms and disciplines under the supervision of the club’s expert members.
The Club is known for its supportive and inclusive community where members are encouraged to participate in a range of competitions and activities throughout the year. Members who hold a firearms or shotgun certificate are allowed to bring their own equipment, while the Club offers a range of firearms and bows for hire at a nominal cost of £2 per session.
Managed by volunteers who are members of the Committee, the Club’s duty office and bar are well-maintained and adhere to the official opening times. Ham & Petersham Rifle & Pistol Club is a warm and sociable place where new members are always welcomed with open arms.

Great club, but busy, so expect waiting if you’re not yet signed off on disciplines. Otherwise this is the most equipped club in the area.

Friendly, helpful, knowledgable and safety focused range. I recommend anyone interested in shooting to go along to the 1st Sunday of the month guest morning (you need to pre register on the web site)
Very professional and great management
Came down for a guest day on Sunday the 4th of June and I have to say, I had such a great time! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Joined up on the spot! My absolute favourite was the black powder pistol, so much fun to fire. Can’t wait to get back there!!
