North Walsham Rifle & Pistol Club - Shooting Club in North Walsham

North Walsham Rifle & Pistol Club is a long-standing club that has been in operation on its current site for over 80 years. The club welcomes individuals who have an interest in learning about and safely practicing target shooting.

The club is a Home Office Approved club and is registered under the number CFP/10.1.7.4.1.2.1.2.3.362 for small-bore rifle, full-bore rifle, and muzzle-loading pistols. It is affiliated with several shooting organisations, including the National Small-Bore Rifle Association, the Muzzle Loaders Association of Great Britain, and the Norfolk County Rifle Association.

The club’s facilities include a clubhouse and three ranges that cater to different types of shooting. The Prone Rifle Range accommodates .22 calibre rifles at distances of 25 yards, 50 metres, and 100 yards. The 25-yard Gallery Range is suitable for various types of guns, such as black-powder pistols and revolvers, centre-fire gallery rifles, .22″ calibre rifles, or any calibre air gun. The air weapons range, which features paper targets and knock-up, knock-down targets, ranges from 10m to 75 yards.

All three ranges have disabled access, and there are accessible toilet and washing up facilities available in the main clubhouse.
