Broadlands Air Rifle Club - Shooting Club in Norwich

Broadlands Air Rifle Club was established in 1981 as a small group of local air rifle enthusiasts seeking to pursue outdoor target shooting. The club initially participated in Field Target Shooting, which involved hitting steel knockdown targets at varying distances to gain points.

As the sport evolved, some of the original members played a significant role in forming the Fenlands Field Target Association (FFTA) and the British Field Target Association (BFTA), which united participating clubs nationwide to promote safe and consistent rules for the sport.

Broadlands Air Rifle Club runs an internal competition regularly, and some members compete in external competitions such as the “Winter League” and “Grand Prix” series at other clubs nationwide. The club has two NSRA-trained coaches available to assist newcomers and those looking to enhance their skills.

The club warmly welcomes newcomers, and there are several female members, and responsible adults (over 21) are welcome to accompany young members.

Newcomers are advised not to purchase equipment before visiting the club, and the club encourages discussing requirements with them beforehand. Please contact the club for further details.
