Rotherham Chantry Rifle Pistol & Social Club is a private and exclusive target shooting club situated near Braithwell in South Yorkshire, which is easily accessible from J1 of the M18. The club offers a wide range of facilities, including a heated clubhouse equipped with kitchen, toilet, and washbasins. There is also an indoor heated range with six lanes at 10 m, 20 yds, and 25 yds, along with two lanes at 25 m. All indoor lanes are fitted with electronic returning targets for shooters’ convenience. Additionally, the club has a covered firing point outdoor range featuring 12 lanes at 50 yds and 50 m, and ten lanes at 100 yds, as well as a large private car park.
The club is registered with the Home Office and permits various shooting disciplines to be practiced on its ranges, such as air pistol and air rifle, .22RF rifle (Yorkshire bench rest, LWR, prone, 3 positions, and free-standing), .22RF pistol, and Pistol Caliber Gallery Rifle. The people are very friendly and helpful.
The Place Is Filthy. Too Strict. They Treat everyone even People who Have been Shooting For Year’s. Like Your a Novice. You have to do it our way or not at all. Go Home don’t come back. Attitude. No Cafe. Bring your own food and cup and take the cup Home. Otherwise everyone will use it. Toilets don’t Bother. Before you join you have to be interrogated.
Very helpful and friendly club. I was nervous to walk into a room of strangers for the first time but since day one I’ve been made to feel welcome and had an amazing shooting experience with them!
Outstanding club. People very friendly and the ranges are well taken care of. Recommend to anybody who would like to get into the shooting sports.
