Sutton Coldfield Rifle & Pistol Club - Shooting Club in Sutton Coldfield

Sutton Coldfield Rifle & Pistol Club is a smallbore shooting club that is affiliated to the NSRA. The club welcomes members of all skill levels, abilities, and genders. Shooting takes place regularly every weekday evening with a range of equipment from 10m to 25 yd using airguns and 0.22 rimfire cartridge equipment.
The Club provides all necessary equipment for members to start shooting, and instruction and guidance are provided by qualified instructors, range officers, or competent members. NSRA-qualified instructors and coaches are available by prior arrangement.
The club encourages members to compete in various club, local, national “postal,” and open competitions at other venues, with different levels available for all abilities. Postal or internal competitions are usually shot in the winter and summer seasons, while members compete against each other in club competitions, including the club ladder and “field” days.
Additionally, outdoor shooting events are arranged so that members can try other aspects of the sport at different ranges. Christmas shoots in each section/discipline, using “fun” targets, are held to boost the Christmas spirit.
Apart from shooting, the club’s Annual Dinner and prize-giving, held at the end of April, is a high point of the year where members and their partners can socialize at a local venue. The Club has a legal requirement to check the identities of members and to ensure they are not excluded from handling equipment and ammunition.
