Sheffield / Sycamore SG & GC is a premier shooting club located just 20 minutes from Sheffield City Centre. Offering a range of shooting activities, including clay pigeon shooting and .22 rifle, air rifle, and pistol shooting, the club is affiliated with esteemed organizations such as the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association and the National Small Bore Rifle Association. Holding a South Yorkshire Police exemption certificate, the club is operated by a friendly team of qualified professionals and enthusiasts.
With a focus on providing a safe and enjoyable shooting experience for all, Sheffield / Sycamore SG & GC welcomes participants of all ages and backgrounds. As defined by the CPSA, clay pigeon shooting is the art of shooting at special flying targets known as clay pigeons, and the club offers 50 bird Sporting DTL ABT and Double Rise disciplines, with plans to introduce 30 bird Compact shooting soon. Additionally, the club has obtained permission to introduce Practical Shotgun Shooting to its grounds, further diversifying the shooting options available.
In addition to regular shooting opportunities, Sheffield / Sycamore SG & GC also caters to corporate events, stag and hen parties, and taster sessions. The club is happy to provide quotes for these events and offers 1-to-1 coaching sessions for those looking to enhance their skills. Cartridges are available on-site, and the club is open to both members and visitors alike.

On behalf of the entire Guy Tribe, 14 of us, I would like to thank you, and particularly Jay, for making the whole experience, for young and old, for those who had shot before, and those who had not, a great afternoon. The location is stunning, and we found a budding champion in the family ! Highly recommended….
Never felt anything other than at home here, the people who run are friendly and welcoming to new shooters and experienced alike. My son have come with me on a few occasions (10 at time) and taken to shoot on the range, Range master has been brilliant, and we left feeling enthused and happy. Membership is a reasonable £50 per annum and means no range fees, just turn up and shoot 9-9 daily (Un-monitored) as this site has the ability to reach out to rifle ranges, and is exposed on a hill it means some really challenging setups can be done. They cater mostly to 12Ga clays, but have prebooked tasters for 22Lr as well.
