Tees Valley Target Sports Club - Shooting Club in Redcar
Tees Valley Target Sports Club is a distinguished target shooting club that is properly constituted and approved by the Home Office. As a club affiliated with the principal national target sports organizations, it upholds the highest standards in the field. With a current membership of 230 members primarily from the districts of Stockton, Redcar & Cleveland, and Middlesbrough, Tees Valley Target Sports Club serves a wide area that extends from Whitby to Sunderland.
Established in 1963 as Guisborough Gun Club, Tees Valley Target Sports Club is situated on a former Home Guard open air range in East Cleveland. While the outdoor facility meets basic requirements, it has limitations in terms of pedestrian/disabled access and parking, and is susceptible to adverse weather conditions. However, the club also boasts an indoor facility on Teesside that caters to air rifle, air pistol, and indoor archery, providing a comprehensive and diverse range of shooting activities for its members.
As a registered Community Amateur Sports Club, Tees Valley Target Sports Club enjoys rights and privileges similar to those of registered charities, without the administrative burden. Absolutely fantastic group, really good facilities. So much so I became a member and use the club twice a week!
