Codicote Bottom Clay Target Club - Shooting Club in Codicote
Codicote Bottom Clay Target Club (CBCTC) is a private shooting club located near the village of Codicote in Hertfordshire.
It offers a relaxed and informal shooting environment suitable for both novice and experienced shooters to hone their skills or just practice. While the club has a limited membership, non-members are also welcome to shoot.
The dedicated team of volunteer staff creates a new layout for each shoot, providing a varied sporting layout along with DTL/ABT and Compak disciplines.
The club has two towers, two grouse butts, and a couple of raised platforms from which to shoot, all equipped with cages for safety. CBCTC values safety highly and has four qualified safety officers to ensure it.
The club is CPSA affiliated and holds a Section 11(6) Exemption under the Firearms Acts 1968 to 1997.
Please note that the club does not provide registered shoots.

A great gun club
Not a bad shoot, a few too many stands with simulation pairs for my liking. But long queues. A lot of waiting time to get on the stand.
Excellent club shoot every other Sunday. Challenging targets, that unusually vary shoot by shoot. Usually a choice of a 70 or 100 bird card. Tea, coffee and bacon rolls pre and post shoot round out an excellent experience.

Plenty of stands, I go as a single and it’s always easy to join another group. The shoot is not easy and my scores are low, but getting better. £26 for 70 clays. Good little shoot
