1. Found at the far eastern side of the county of Kent, we are located on the ‘Isle of Thanet’. The Ramsgate & Dover Rifle Club is at the edge of the island, in a corner of The King George VI Memorial Park. You can find this of the cliff top between Winterstoke Gardens (Ramsgate) and Dumpton Gap (Broadstairs).

   The Club is within a few hundred yards of the cliff top, overlooking the northern end of the English Channel. The range orientation is west to east. The means that shooting is often subject to the local weather conditions, including bright sunrises, strong coastal winds and sometimes thick rolling sea fog!

   We are only a small Club; currently around 50 members, of all ages and skill levels. We shoot Air Rifle, Air Pistol, .22lr Smallbore Target Rifle, .22lr Smallbore Sporting Rifle and CO2 Pistol. We also shoot fullbore rifle at external ranges, such as Hythe and Bisley.

   Please ensure you let us know your shooting interests and if you have any previous shooting experience; do you hold an FAC or an SGC, have you any formal shooting qualifications, such as RSO, RCO, Club Instructor or Club Coach?
   Your e-mail will be forwarded to the Club Membership Secretary who will let you know the availability and timeline of future prospective probationary member training courses.
   We usually conduct probationary member training on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. Each session starts at 10am and lasts between 60 and 90 minutes.
