Darley Dale Clay Pigeon Shooting Club - Shooting Club in Brassington

Established by a small group of friends in the 1970s at Stanton in the Peak, the Darley Dale Clay Pigeon Shooting Club has evolved over the years, finding its current long-term residence near Brassington. Renowned for its vibrant shooting community, the club attracts a substantial number of enthusiasts from the local area and beyond. While affiliated with the CPSA (Clay Pigeon Shooting Association) and maintaining a safety officer, the club operates its classification scheme and does not host CPSA registered shoots.
Nestled in an idyllic setting, the club’s current site offers an ideal environment for Sporting Clays. With the ability to position traps strategically above and below shooters, a myriad of classic stands, including driven, teal, rabbits, and crossers, can be simulated. All traps are automated, eliminating the need for trappers. However, participants are kindly requested to mark their own cards and operate the traps responsibly, ensuring a safe and enjoyable shooting experience.
To enhance the overall experience, the club provides convenient catering facilities, offering a selection of hot beverages and appetizing hot food. Shooters can take breaks, refuel, and connect with fellow enthusiasts in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The Darley Dale Clay Pigeon Shooting Club warmly welcomes both experienced shooters and newcomers to the world of clay shooting. Join the club, embrace the camaraderie, and immerse yourself in the exhilarating world of clay pigeon shooting.
