The club places great emphasis on allowing its members to experience shooting at their preferred level. Target shooting, recognized as the safest sport in the UK, offers remarkable diversity with numerous disciplines to explore. Notably, it stands as the only sport in the UK that boasts complete integration, welcoming participants regardless of gender, ability, or disability. East Midlands Regional Range takes pride in this inclusivity, even accommodating blind shooting. The club facilitates a wide array of shooting disciplines, including Air Rifle, Small Bore Target Rifle, Small Bore Bench-rest, Practical Rifle, Practical Shotgun, Fullbore, Civilian Service Rifle, Muzzle Loading, and Vintage Arms.
Throughout the year, East Midlands Regional Range organizes various excursions to other ranges, affording members the opportunity to engage in Full Bore Target Rifle and Scoped rifle shooting, with distances of up to 1200 yards. Additionally, the club caters to those with a penchant for historic, vintage arms, and muzzle loading black powder rifles. Several members actively participate in local, regional, and national competitions, representing the club with skill and dedication.
Operating four days a week, East Midlands Regional Range hosts its main training and participation evening on Wednesdays. This ensures members have ample opportunities to enhance their shooting abilities and engage with fellow enthusiasts.
