Welcome to the Rugby & District Trap Club (RDTC), an esteemed shooting club established in June 1988 with a primary focus on DTL (Down The Line) and ABT (Automatic Ball Trap) shooting disciplines. Recognized for its exceptional ABT performance, RDTC swiftly garnered a solid reputation, leading to the discontinuation of DTL in 1990.

As an active and dedicated shooting club, RDTC hosts a variety of notable events throughout the year. These include the County Championships for Warwickshire, Staffordshire, and Derbyshire, along with Inter-county competitions and Championships for the West Midlands area of the CPSA (Clay Pigeon Shooting Association). The club’s participation in these esteemed competitions demonstrates its commitment to fostering a competitive and thriving shooting community.

RDTC warmly welcomes beginners who are eager to embark on their shooting journey. The clubhouse provides a selection of essential items for purchase, including cartridges, earplugs, and other shooting accessories. Notably, the club can accommodate requests for large quantities of Express or Eley cartridges, provided arrangements are made at least one week in advance.
