Grove Small Arms Club - Shooting Club in Shropham

Established by visionary Norfolk farmer Tony Hardesty, the origins of Grove Small Arms Club trace back to a remarkable endeavor. Hardesty constructed an indoor range on his farm located in Forncett St Peter, aptly named “The Grove,” thus inspiring the club’s nomenclature.

Grove Small Arms Club conducts shoots across multiple premier locations. These include the Thetford Converted Gallery Range, the Thetford Electronic Target Range, the Barton Road Rifle Range near Cambridge, as well as practical shotgun meetings at Wetherden and short-range shoots on the esteemed Elveden Estate range situated south of Thetford.

Prospective members are cordially invited to the Euston Range, where they will receive detailed information outlined in the Ranges section. Seasoned committee members oversee the training and mentorship of newcomers, fostering a supportive environment. While some members actively participate in shooting competitions, Grove Small Arms Club places no pressure on its members to compete. Its primary purpose lies in the appreciation and enjoyment of sporting and historical firearms, as members embark on an enriching journey of discovery.
