Iceni Marksmen ARC - Shooting Club in Colchester

Established in 1984, Iceni Marksmen ARC is dedicated to fostering the skills and discipline essential for field target shooting. This captivating sport involves engaging metal knockdown targets across lanes set within a picturesque woodland environment. At Iceni Marksmen, individuals have access to a spacious practice area where they can fine-tune their equipment, while also benefiting from precise target boards and a diverse array of knockdown and spinning targets. The members of Iceni Marksmen take pride in assisting newcomers, ensuring they embark on their shooting journey with confidence. A dedicated safety officer is always present to provide guidance and support. Every Sunday morning, the club convenes at the Radcliffe shooting ground, conveniently situated just outside Colchester. The expansive woodland area, adorned with vibrant bluebells during the spring season, provides a breathtaking backdrop for the shooting experience.

Following the guidelines set by the British Field Target Association (BFTA), the courses at Iceni Marksmen ARC encompass sitting, standing, and kneeling lanes. Targets are strategically positioned at distances ranging from 10 to 55 yards, offering a diverse and challenging shooting experience for all participants.
