Buxted and District Rifle & Pistol Club - Shooting Club in Uckfield
Buxted and District Rifle & Pistol Club has been an integral part of the local community for many years, actively participating in local Bench Rest and Hunter Field Target (HFT) competitions. The club’s range is conveniently located near the railway station on Framfield Road.
The club offers a diverse range of shooting activities, including HFT and indoor air rifle shooting. Lively and informative evenings are spent shooting 25yd benchrest and knockdown type competitions based on the HFT format. The club’s HFT range is set in a picturesque woodland area, just a short drive from the main club. As an affiliated UKAHFT club, the club follows standardized rules for shooting targets, allowing members to confidently participate in the national series held across the country during the summer, without hesitation.
In addition, the club actively supports the Southern Hunters Series and competes against local teams from Sussex in informal HFT competitions. The club’s success and achievements in a relatively short span of time can be attributed to the unwavering enthusiasm and hard work of its founding members.
