Chobham & District Rifle Club - Shooting Club in Chobham

Chobham & District Rifle Club is an active and long-standing Home Office Approved target shooting club located in Chobham, Surrey, UK. The club has been an integral part of the Chobham community since 1909 and has historical links with the ‘Home Guard’. It relocated to its present location in 1927 with the help of local craftsmen who volunteered their labor to build the current clubhouse and range.

Initially established for small-bore (.22″) rifle shooting, the club has evolved and expanded over the years. Today, members can enjoy a range of shooting disciplines, including .177″ air rifle & air pistol and sporting rifle disciplines at the Chobham facilities. The club is also in close proximity to the Bisley shooting complex, which houses the National Shooting Centre, the country’s largest complex of civilian shooting ranges. Members have opportunities to shoot full-bore and shotgun disciplines on the Bisley ranges.

The club celebrated its centenary in 2009, reflecting its rich history and contribution to the local community. The Chobham & District Rifle Club welcomes members of all ages and experience levels who have an interest in target shooting, and offers a supportive and welcoming environment for shooters to improve their skills and enjoy a variety of shooting disciplines.
