Croydon Rifle & Pistol Club - Shooting Club in Croydon
Croydon Rifle & Pistol Club, established in 1962, is located in Jessops Way, Croydon. Initially situated in the town centre near the Fairfield Halls, the club moved to its current location where it is authorized by the Home Office to shoot .22LR small-bore rifles up to 100 yards. The club also has a 25-meter gallery rifle and black powder range that can handle various calibres up to .455 Webley.
Croydon Rifle & Pistol Club offers a range of weather-proofed facilities, including the 20, 25, 50, 100 yard, and two 25-meter ranges, as well as two indoor air weapon 10-meter and 25-yard small-bore ranges, both of which are heated. The club provides all the necessary shooting competition facilities in one location with no range fees.
The club has regular visits to the National Shooting Centre at Bisley throughout the year, where members use 7.62mm NATO calibre full-bore rifles to shoot from 200 to 1,000 yards. At Bisley, the club also shoots gallery and sporting rifle at 200 yards using pistol calibre rifles such as the Winchester, along with vintage .303 Lee-Enfields and the Martini-Henry.

A well equipped club with multiple ranges that cater to a number of disciplines, including air rifle, prone, LSR, gallery rifles, full bore and black powder.
Friendly instructors and members, relatively convenient location (next to Beddington Lane tram stop) and reasonable prices. There is a waiting list for joining the probationary group but it is worth the wait.

I attended a “have a go archery lesson” and it was a fantastic experience; the instructor was encouraging, knowledgeable, friendly, polite and safety conscious. The venue was easy to get to, bright and clean. All the people attending were .
Cannot even give this one star, but only way to leave a review, this is a great club to shoot at most members are polite and helpful. But sadly there are a few who believe the club is their personal club, and are stopping genuine shooters, from becoming full members. If you have a happy out going personality, defo stay away from this club, also a certain committee member who will remain nameless, is a total you know what, who will block you getting full membership if he does not like you, the other committee members know who he is, and should vote him off ASAP, before he destroys a great club
, also the person is a bully, And spreads bad references to other clubs in area, to block you from joining them, very nasty spiteful person, but luckily found other nicer clubs to join, and enjoy my shooting, without the grief, also do not put in official complaint in to secretary, as will block you straight away, but other wise some really nice members there, who like me are very helpful and obliging,

Great place for all shooting lovers. Most members are always willing to help, it’s just one have to approach right members. We highly recommend this club.
