Heston & Hounslow Rifle Club - Shooting Club in Hounslow
Heston & Hounslow Rifle Club is a target shooting club that offers facilities for both air rifle and pistol shooting as well as smallbore prone and benchrest rifle shooting. The club is home to approximately 40 members who have access to a .22 indoor firing point that leads to outdoor shooting on a 6 lane 25 yard, 4 lane 50 metre, and 3 lane 100 yard ranges. There is also a 4 lane 10m air range and a Clubhouse for members to relax and socialize in between shooting sessions. The 50 metre and 25 yard ranges are equipped with lights for use in the evenings.
The club is located in Hounslow, which is in close proximity to Heathrow Airport and can be accessed by bus as well as by car, with its own parking area. Small-bore rifle shooting is available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, on Fridays from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm for beginners/probationers, and on Sunday mornings from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on all ranges. This is Heston & Hounslow Rifle club one of the oldest clubs about, I have been a member for around two years shooting 25 yards prone.
The people are very friendly and give full training to new members, who attend on Fridays. Would recommend to anyone who has an interest in learn to shoot .
