Long Ashton District Rifle Club - Shooting Club in Long Ashton, Bristol

Long Ashton District Rifle Club was founded by members of the Home Guard, and its range was constructed in 1964 by W. Hobbs, J. Faithful, and W Beaton. The land for the range was purchased from Mr. James, and the building now stands where trees once grew. The car park area, which was formerly used for the storage of steam road rollers, now serves as a parking area for members.

The Club offers both indoor and outdoor facilities for rifle shooting, including 10 meters air rifle and pistol, 20 meters air rifle, and 25 meters air rifle and .22 caliber. The outdoor range features distances of 50 yards, 50 meters, and 100 meters. The range has been recertified for 3P at all distances and offers shooting positions of prone, bench, kneeling, and standing.

The Club is committed to providing a welcoming and safe environment for individuals of all levels of experience to engage in the sport of rifle shooting. Whether members are interested in recreational shooting or competing in events, the Long Ashton District Rifle Club offers a range of facilities and opportunities to suit their needs.
