Millride FTC - Shooting Club in Wolverhampton

The club offers excellent on-site facilities, including a cozy cafe and a dedicated cabin where members can unwind, socialize, and seek refuge from the elements. At Millride FTC, safety is paramount, and the sport of Field Target involves shooting at metal silhouettes that topple when struck in the designated area. These targets are easily reset by pulling a cord from the firing position, ensuring a smooth and efficient shooting experience.

Members of Millride FTC can indulge in year-round shooting activities every Saturday from 12.00 noon to 3.30pm, although occasional adjustments may be made to accommodate specific circumstances or weather conditions. During club shoots, participants encounter a diverse course consisting of 25 to 30 targets strategically placed at varying distances between 8 and 55 yards. To ensure fair competition, members are grouped into three skill-based classes, allowing individuals to compete against shooters of similar proficiency. Additionally, the club provides a practice range, which proves invaluable for fine-tuning rifle and scope settings.
