North Oxon FTC - Shooting Club in Bicester

North Oxon FTC is a renowned club located in a private woodland between the villages of Ardley and Somerton, less than 2 miles away from Junction 10 of the M40. The club was founded in late 2002 by a small group of air rifle enthusiasts with the aim of providing a secure and private outdoor location for air rifle owners to shoot legally and safely while competing in target competitions. After finding suitable woodlands in 2003, the ‘Bulldogs’ were formed.
Over time, the club’s membership has expanded, offering a variety of shooting disciplines for individuals aged over 10 years. All air rifle and/or air pistol owners are welcome, regardless of their shooting abilities, ranging from beginners to experienced HFT/FT shooters and everyone in-between. The club uses two private woodlands, situated on either side of the lane. The main woodland, located on the right-hand side of the lane, features a 55-yard plinking range and a complete 30-shot HFT/FT course where the club meets on Sundays.
On the left-hand side of the lane, the woodland serves as a zeroing range with three static benches. It is available 24/7 strictly to full club members who carry membership photo ID. For those who are new to airguns or have not used them in many years, North Oxon FTC is the perfect place to start. Visitors are welcome to attend and experience what the club offers after completing initial safety and induction briefings. The club also provides a range of club rifles and pistols for individuals who do not own their own rifle/pistol. With experienced club members always ready to offer friendly guidance and advice at all levels, North Oxon FTC is an excellent place for air rifle enthusiasts of all skill levels to hone their skills and enjoy the sport.
