Norwich City Target Club - Shooting Club in Norwich

Norwich City Target Club has a long-standing history, having started as “Norwich and District Air Weapons Club” back in 1972.

At the time, the club shot once a week in a hall on the University of East Anglia site and had both Air Rifle and Air Pistol shooters. Initially shooting mostly at 6 yds, and occasionally at the International distance of 10 metres, members soon began participating in the National Championships held at Cosford for 6 yards under the auspices of the National Air Rifle and Pistol Association (NARPA), as at that time the NSRA (National Small bore Rifle Association) had little available in air events.

Today, the club welcomes air gun hobbyists as well as those who have reached the ranks of International/National teams in the premier Olympic shooting event. Norwich City Target Club prides itself on keeping up with technology and now offers electronic targets in all shooting lanes, enhancing the shooting experience for all members.
