Penarth Rifle Club - Shooting Club in Penarth

Penarth Rifle Club is an exclusive members-only organization that caters to enthusiasts of air rifle and air pistol shooting at both 10 metres and 25 yards, in standing or sitting positions. For those who prefer to shoot .22 LR, the club offers a range of prone, sitting, and standing positions at 20 and 25 yards. The club is actively involved in both internal and external competitions, providing members with opportunities to improve their skills and showcase their marksmanship abilities.

To become a member, interested individuals are required to first join as probationary members. The club conducts a weekly beginners/probationers’ night on Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm, during which new members are given a thorough safety talk and induction before shooting under supervision. As required by law, the details of all probationary members are also provided to South Wales Police.
