Swallows Field Target Club - Shooting Club in Brighton

Swallows Field Target Club is a long-established club that was founded in 1979/80 by Bill Kennedy and his wife, along with a few keen enthusiasts. Initially, the club focused on spring-powered rifles with open sights and low-powered scopes, and members entered into Field Target Competitions mostly in the Southern region. The club has since grown and changed its location and disciplines to focus on Hunter Field Target.
In 2016, the club moved to its present location at Broyle Park Farm in Laughton East Sussex. The new location provides dedicated woodland and a large field, perfect for plinking and competitions. Members have access to a permanent plinking range and can set up bespoke targets on the main field to practice on a particular aspect as required. The club also provides paper target boards for scope zeroing and practicing clustering.
On competition days, plinking targets are set up in the main field for last-minute practice, and the competition targets are set up in the field and the woodland. With the unique combinations of targets that members can set up in the main field, each shoot day offers a great variety of shooting options for everyone.
