West Midlands Regional Target Shooting Squad - Shooting Club in Wolverhampton

The West Midlands Regional Target Shooting Squad is dedicated to helping shooters improve their performance in competition, with a focus on the International Sport Shooting Federation (ISSF) pistol and rifle disciplines. The squad is open to active competition pistol and rifle shooters in the region who are willing to work with a coach to enhance their skills.

Regular training sessions are held at the West Midlands Shooting Centre in Wolverhampton, where members practice 10m Air Pistol and Rifle and 50m rimfire rifle shooting. To join the squad, members must have their own equipment and contribute to the squad’s expenses, which are kept to a minimum.

The squad encourages members to compete, at least within the region, and is particularly welcoming to young and junior shooters (U21) who are keen to work with a coach to achieve their goals. Whether shooting at the national or club level, the skills learned through the squad’s coaching and training are transferable and can benefit shooters of all levels.
