Wymondham Rifle Club - Shooting Club in Wymondham
Wymondham Rifle Club has a rich history, having been established in 1910. While the club traditionally used the Strayground pits, it has also utilized Browick and Keswick ranges. In recent times, the club has adapted to using indoor ranges in Norwich and Wymondham. While the club has faced its ups and downs, it has continued to maintain a small yet dedicated membership.
The club strictly shoots .22 Rimfire calibre firearms and does not have facilities to shoot airguns. Safety is of utmost importance to the club, with a high proportion of members being qualified Range Conducting Officers. However, the club is currently unable to accept applicants under the age of 21 due to restrictions from its insurer.
The club meets for shooting every Tuesday throughout the year. Membership fees amount to £95.00 per annum, plus a weekly range fee of £1 and any additional competition fees and ammunition costs. The club is eager to connect with any former members or their associates who may be interested in joining or learning more about the club.
Wymondham Rifle Club is based in Norfolk
