I was simply a passing customer wanting to browse and review some air rifles. I was very impressed with the range on display and the comprehensive stock that they hold. Should I return I would certainly consider purchase from Woody’s as the staff were helpful, cheerful and not patronising when I asked simple questions. I have got to say that the experience was a very good one!
Because you get all kinds of fishing things like net ,fishing stick, air guns, many kinds of knife, fishing garments . And many things. If anybody visit there crazy seeing the thing inside the shop. I love it so much.
I would avoid this place if your either a beginner or looking for REASONABLE deal.
Thinking I could have faith in the elderly gents knowledge and experience….I found I bought my 1st rod and reel not only double the online price, but discontinued so I’ve found it impossible to but any parts for it like spools.
Yes, you may call this business, but I now feel I was taken advantage of, and he wouldnt even knock off a £1 off a £230 purchase.
I’ve now been to a few shops and have to say this has been my worst experience, plus the staff seem unfriendly, maybe the W should be upside-down…..MOODYS of Wembley.
Oakwood tackle in North London and Tackle 914 in Bournemouth are the best genuine, fishing shops I’ve been to and I’ve based my experience using THE BEST as a benchmark.
Oakwood always welcoming and happy to help and the gentleman In Tackle 914 even offered to give me some casting lessons for free, Reel genuine passionate people.

I was at woodys the other day and brought a hw80k 🙂 all the staff were amazing you know what I couldn’t of asked for a better experience ( Ben ) a young lad who works there knows his stuff and really made me feel welcome
